One of the integral professions in patient care, the physical therapy profession plan and implement management programs aiming at caring for people whose illness or injury prevents them from preforming their daily activities optimally. 

The program aims to educate physical therapists to meet the health care needs in the State of Kuwait.

The scientific department also prepares students to have a high degree of competence and clinical ability in examination and treatment, which requires a great amount of constant learning and continuous clinical training.

Physiotherapists work in many hospitals, for example, gynecology, pediatrics, medical wards, intensive care units, burn units, surgical wards, geriatrics, psychiatry, and sports rehabilitation in inpatient and outpatient orthopedic and neurological departments.

The department can't accept students with physical disability, as per the professional requirements.
