Main Responsibilities of the Office:
1. Supporting and Enhancing Scientific Research:
• Monitoring scientific research and providing necessary support to faculty members and students.
• Coordinating with relevant entities to secure funding for research.
• Encouraging publication in prestigious scientific journals.
• Organizing workshops and seminars to develop research skills among researchers and students.
2. Monitoring Research Grants and Scientific Assignments:
• Supervising the application and follow-up process for research grants.
• Ensuring that research complies with academic and ethical standards.
• Providing administrative and technical support for researchers.
3. Graduate Programs and Coordination with Program Directors:
• Supervising graduate programs and ensuring their alignment with global developments.
• Coordinating with program directors to maintain the quality of educational and research processes.
• Establishing new graduate programs that meet the needs of the local and regional job markets.
4. Supporting the Scientific Poster for Graduates of the College of Allied Health Sciences:
• The office handles coordination, organization, and communication with students, academic departments, external stakeholders, and participants in the scientific poster event to exchange knowledge and experiences.
• It plays a role in organizing and overseeing scientific poster events to maximize benefits for participants.
5. Strengthening the Relationship Between the College and the Community:
• Enhancing communication with various community institutions to exchange expertise and knowledge.
• Organizing events and conferences aimed at discussing health challenges in the community and providing research-based solutions.

Master’s Programs at the College of Allied Health Sciences:
The College of Allied Health Sciences offers Master’s programs in the following departments:
• Medical Laboratory Sciences
• Radiological Sciences
• Occupational Therapy

Graduate Program Statistics:
Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences:
• The first cohort of the Master’s program was admitted in the academic year 2012/2013.
• A total of 14 students have graduated with a Master’s degree, and 2 students have obtained a Postgraduate Diploma.
• Currently, there are 7 students enrolled in the program.
Department of Radiological Sciences:
• The first cohort was admitted in the academic year 2024/2025.
• Number of currently enrolled students: 2.
Department of Occupational Therapy:
• The first cohort was admitted in the academic year 2024/2025.
• Number of currently enrolled students: 4.

Key Achievements for 2025:
1. Organizing Scientific Conferences:
• The office organized scientific conferences that address challenges and changes in the healthcare sector.
• One of the most notable events was the conference "Next-Generation Healthcare: Integrating Informatics and Medical Imaging for Collaborative Care," under the patronage of Kuwait University President Professor Dina Al-Milem and the Acting Dean of the College Dr. Mohammad Shaaban Nadhar.
• The conference focused on preparing a rich scientific program to keep up with healthcare sector advancements.
2. Training Workshops:
• The office organized training workshops with participation from distinguished professors from various local and international academic institutions.
• These workshops aim to enhance research and analytical skills among participants.
• The office is preparing for upcoming workshops on "Research Methodology" to be held in April 2025.
3. Preparing for Upcoming Events:
• The office is preparing for the 18th Student Poster Day, scheduled to take place on May 8, 2025.
