The Office of Consulting and Training at the College of Medical Sciences at Kuwait University signed a cooperation agreement with MENA LIFE to establish an accredited training center offering exclusive training courses in first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and public safety (BLS, ACLS, and CPR), adhering to the highest international standards. On this occasion, Dr. Mohammed Shaaban Nazar, Acting Assistant Dean for Clinical Affairs, Consulting, and Training, affirmed that this agreement represents a strategic step towards aligning academic education outcomes with labor market needs. He emphasized the importance of enhancing medical care and vocational training standards at the national level to keep pace with modern advancements in emergency and healthcare fields.
Under the agreement, the new center will serve as an accredited training and standards arm in Kuwait, offering a comprehensive suite of advanced services, including: Specialized medical training programs in first aid, basic life support (BLS), advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and occupational safety, in accordance with the latest international protocols from ASHI/HIS, as well as continuing education programs for healthcare practitioners through the design and implementation of accredited development courses with Continuing Medical Education (CME) hours targeting specialists in both the public and private sectors.
This agreement reflects the College of Allied Health Sciences' commitment to expanding its partnerships with specialized entities and supporting impactful initiatives that contribute to the development of the healthcare and education system in the State of Kuwait.
