The program includes three years of core nursing education, followed by a fourth year of specialization in one of the following tracks:
- Nurse Midwifery.
- Forensic Nursing.
- Critical Care Nursing.
- Medical-Surgical Nursing.
1. Detailed Description of the Specialty
Core Curriculum (Years 1–3)
- The foundational BSN program includes:
- Anatomy & Physiology
- Microbiology
- Nursing Foundations I & II
- Health Assessment & Simulation Labs
- Adult Health Nursing
- Community Nursing
- Childbearing and Pediatric Nursing
- Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing
- Nursing Research & Evidence-Based Practice
- Health Informatics
Specialization (Year 4)
Each specialty track provides advanced courses and clinical practice:
- Midwifery: maternal physiology, gynecology, intrapartum care, postpartum & newborn care.
- Forensic Nursing: victimology, injury investigation, sexual assault examination, legal and ethical frameworks.
- Critical Care: advanced health assessment, emergency preparedness, acute care practice, advanced pharmacology.
- Medical-Surgical: advanced nursing care for complex cases, leadership, health disparities, perioperative care.
All tracks include simulation, clinical rotations, and a capstone practicum.
